A companion of CURIOSES

During her time as director of the ACVic, the Centre d’Arts Contemporànies de Vic, Caterina Almirall launched a cross-cutting training program called CURIOSES. The program consisted of a weekly session between February and June, three hours long, dedicated to curiosizing around contemporary art and artistic practices. Caterina asked Angela Palacios and I if we could be accompanying the group that had signed up for the training. A fantastic group made up of about seven people with whom we have been able to make visits to the different artistic spaces of Vic, with whom we have been able to discuss issues of art, make papyrophlexia, snack, think, laugh and learn things together.

As a “end-of-year work”, the participants in the training have created a “Quadern CURIÓS” that brings together and shares some of the experiences lived during this semester.
