De Kathedraal

The project \”De Kathedraal\” is based in the homonymous book made by the illustrator David Macaulay, in which it is explained how to build a gothic cathedral taking as examples belgian and dutch cathedrals.

On the first day in our studio at NauEstruch we only had this book, so we started working on it. We decided that we were going to build a cathedral that could fit inside our studio and that we would do it not by trying to build a real cathedral but by evoking actions that are representatives of the building process of a cathedral.
