Another Serenade

29th June, 2024

Night guided tour at the Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona. Within the context of L’Hivernacle.

By day, we can clearly see how the Palau de la Música Catalana is a garden full of vegetation. Beautiful flowers and leaves cover the floor, snail down the columns and climb up the walls. However, the fauna that inhabits it hides from our eyes and does not let itself be heard until sunset. In this night visit to the modernist enclosure, without the light of the sun and under the night, the ear sharpens and we can listen to the animals, the flora, the winds and the small torrents that are heading towards the sea. With a little luck we will be able to listen to them and they will explain to us the legend of the papagay of Apel·les Mestres that, sometimes, can be seen in the Palace.
